Franschhoek, Robertson & Knysna

A bespoke seven day trip, fully escorted and all inclusive

Starting in Franschhoek for two nights, arguably South Africa's most famous wine valley, we join Route R62 the longest wine route in the world which stretches all the way from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, for our next stop at Robertson. The town is well known for its beauty, renowned for its wines of connoisseur quality, radiant roses and thoroughbred horses. Columns of red or yellow cannas and flaming bougainvillea line the roads outside the wine estates, gardens overflow and vineyards are banked with roses, while brilliant mauve jacarandas shade the streets. We spend two nights before joining South Africa's famous Garden Route, destination Knysna - a natural paradise of lush, indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches. She nestles on the banks of a breathtakingly pretty lagoon, now a protected marine reserve that is home to the extraordinary sea horse and over 200 species of fish.
